Brave Brioche with Dear Pru
Jump feet first into brioche! In this technique based class, you will be supported to learn how to work one and two colour basic brioche in rows as well as in the round using both written and charted instructions. This is a shape-free class, ie. no increasing or decreasing. Bring a pattern involving brioche that you have been scared to start and we’ll decode it!
Pre-requisite skills: knit, purl, cast on.
Materials Required
Each student will need:
• 2 x 30-50g contrasting 4ply/ fingering weight yarns.
• 3.25 mm 80cm circular knitting needles
Our store will be open 15 minutes before class commences to purchase materials and wind yarn into a cake as required.Instruction booklets will be provided. Pens, scissors and gauge rulers/ measuring tapes will be available to borrow.
The class will run from 10am-1pm. Tea and Coffee will be provided .
Their will be no entry to the class after the first 10 minutes

Teacher bio
Pru Raymond is a qualified educator and creative who has been knitting since
childhood. Knitting is her daily mindfulness practice, a creative outlet and an act of craftivism. She values her knitting workshops as a space for people to expand social and neural connections through creating.

As an experienced teacher with a current SA teaching registration and current
police clearance, I am highly qualified to teach children and young adults.
