‘Flight’ – Beginners Tunisian Crochet
Jump into the world of Tunisian Crochet!
Designed for novice crocheters and knitters, learn all the Tunisian Crochet basics while enjoying a “tasting flight” of seven simple to advanced stitch techniques. The provided pattern will give you the option to make arm warmers or a cowl using all the techniques you will learn in class.
*Not suitable for beginner crocheters*
Pre-requisite skills:
Crochet chain, slip stitch and single crochet
What to Bring:
5mm 25cm Tunisian hook (available on the day)
100g (2 skeins) of Coop Knits “Socks Yeah DK” yarn or 100g (2 balls) Peppin 8 yarn
5.5mm crochet hook
Cable needle
(Optional 4mm hook not required for class but needed to complete pattern)
Our store will be open 15 minutes before class commences to purchase materials and wind yarn into a cake as required.Instruction booklets will be provided. Pens, scissors and gauge rulers/ measuring tapes will be available to borrow.
The class will run from 10am-1pm. Tea and Coffee will be provided .
Their will be no entry to the class after the first 10 minutes

Maria McBride is a former IT Data Geek and now a fulltime Fibre Arts Nerd. She was taught how to knit by her grandfather when she was 8yo but it was when she learned how to crochet 10 years ago that she really got hooked on yarn! Maria is passionate about introducing people to the world of knitting and crochet and helping them along their fibre arts journey.
