Kick Start Bramble – Express Workshop with Dear Pru
Keen to cast on a brioche shawl but not sure where to start? Let knitting designer and teacher Pru Raymond kick start your Bramble shawl project in this express workshop. Tour the pattern, zero in on key skills and walk away with the skills, knowledge and confidence to complete your WIP at home.
Skill level: some experience knitting two colour brioche in rows. Knitters who are new to brioche are encouraged to attend Brave Brioche in the morning first.
Materials Required (Pattern Included)
- Yarn:
Bramble is knit in three colours of 4ply wool yarn (400 m per 100 g):
• Main Colour (MC): 1 x mid-toned solid/ semi-solid coloured yarn. - Contrast Colour (CC1): 1 x speckled/ painterly hand dyed yarn.
• Contrast Colour (CC2): 1 x dark solid/ semi-solid coloured yarn.
Knitting needles
• 3.25 mm / US 3 interchangeable knitting needle tips
• 35 cm/ 14” Cord
• 55 cm / 22” Cord
• 1 set End Stoppers
Pens, scissors and any other tools needed will be available to borrow.
Their will be no entry to the class after the first 10 minutes
