Santa Sock Workshop
Knit a cute Christmas Tree decoration while also expanding your sock skills! Pru Raymond’s “Socks Plus” class has had a seasonal reboot: while knitting the “Santa Sock” you’ll also be learning to do a tubular cast on, how to work a heel using short rows and cap it off with a three needle bind off.
Not suitable for beginner knitters
Materials Required
Each student will need:
• 3.75mm 80cm circular needle
• Cable needle or extra knitting needle: 3.75mm or smaller
• 1 x 50g Fiddlesticks Peppin 8ply (100% Australian Fine Merino
Wool Superwash; 110m/120yrds per 50g) in Cherry or Pine
• 1 x 50g Fiddlesticks Peppin 8ply (100% Australian Fine Merino Wool Superwash; 110m/120yrds per 50g) in White or Cream
Our store will be open 15 minutes before class commences to purchase materials and wind yarn into a cake as required. Instruction booklets will be provided. Pens, scissors and gauge rulers/ measuring
tapes will be available to borrow.
The class will run from 10am to 1pm
Their will be no entry to the class after the first 10 minutes
Tea and Coffee will be provided .
All class attendees with receive a 10% discount on all in-store purchases* on the day. This is also extended to any class materials purchased in advance.
