Yes you can! Come and join us at Yarn Trader in our studio workshop with our sock guru Lesley to try your hand at making crochet socks.

All the stitches and techniques will be covered to let you produce you very own spring socks. We will even decode the sock math for making the fit just so!

Experience Level

This class is not suitable for the beginner crocheter but will suit adventurous novices or those further on their crochet journey.

What to Bring

• 100g of fingering weight yarn, bring along a sock mini if you fancy different heels and toes.
• ALL YARN MUST BE WOUND AND READY TO GO FOR THE CLASS>
• Size 3mm crochet hook, removeable stitch marker, scissors and darning needle
• Download and print a copy of the Rialto Pattern by Hannah Cross on Ravelry

Class commences at 10am and is expected to run 4 to 5 hours

Please feel free to bring your lunch or we will organise ordering lunch from our neighbour the ‘Dutch Coffee Lab’. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to re-heat food. Tea and Coffee will be provided,

Classes and Covid-Safe

All class sizes have been limited to six excluding the instructor to help maintain social distancing. A register of names and contact details will be kept. You are respectfully asked not to attend if you are feeling unwell.
