Beginners or Intermediate crochet class.

Join us at Yarn Trader to learn the skills to make a temperature blanket. You will learn a few basic crochet stitches and how to design your own.

Choose from a row by row or a Granny square design.

Choose to use between 5 and 25 different colours in your blanket from a landscape you love or an interior decorating palette you love.

Then choose a year of maximum daily temperatures from a year that is relevant to you . Learn how to source these records on your iPhone or ipad.

The blanket is formed by crocheting one row or round a day through 2021 , as we are well into this year already join us to get started.

REQUIREMENTS
-3 mm crochet hook
-A selection of 8ply cotton or yarn that co ordinates with your chosen colour scheme scraps can be used but you will need more yarn if doing less colours.
– a device to source your years temperatures.

The class will run from 10am-2pm bring lunch or you can order it from the Dutch Coffee Shop next door . Tea and Coffee will be provided .

Classes and Covid-Safe

All class sizes have been limited to six excluding the instructor to help maintain social distancing. A register of names and contact details will be kept. You are respectfully asked not to attend if you are feeling unwell.
