Why do I need to know how to do the FLK ?

1 Really suited for working with hand dyed, patterned or varigated yarns.
2 No wrapping and turning, cursing, or little holes around the heel from picking up stitches.
3 Produces a comfy, well fitting heel.

So if you fancy taking your sock making to the next level then this is the class for you.

Experience Level

• Being able to cast on, cast off, increase and decrease
• Being able to read a pattern
• Some experience of knitting in the round is advantageous but not required
• Some experience of sock knitting is advantageous but not required
• This class is not suitable for the beginner knitter

Homework

• Cast on 64 stitches in the round using a 4Ply and 2.5mm needles either with magic loop, magic circle or double pointed needles
• Knit a cuff of your choice or if new to socks then 2.5cm of k2 p2 ribbing
• Then knit 5cm of stockinette in the round
