Single Pattern – Joji Locatelli – Spector

Spector is a circular yoke pullover with a very beautiful and delicate textured pattern. The trellis-like stitches interlock and change as you make progress from the top down. This design uses 4 different colors of yarn to achieve a gradient effect.

Gauge: 23.5 sts and 35 rows 4″ [10 cm] on US 3 (3.25 mm) needles in Stockinette stitch

• XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL).
• Recommended ease: 1-3″ (2.5-7.5 cm) of positive ease

Finished Measurements: 

• Bust circumference: 32 (34, 38¾, 42¾, 46¾, 50¾, 54¾, 57½, 63¼) inches; 80 (85, 97, 107, 117, 127, 137, 144, 158) cm.
• Neck opening: 17½ (18, 20, 21½, 23¼, 24, 26¾, 27½, 29½) inches; 44 (45, 50, 54, 58, 60, 67, 69, 74) cm.
• Yoke Depth (approx.): 7¼ (7½, 8, 8½, 8¾, 9¼, 9½, 10, 10½) inches; 18 (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26) cm.
• Upper sleeve circumference: 11½ (12, 13¼, 14, 14½, 15¼, 17, 17½, 18 ½) inches; 28.5 (30, 33, 35, 36.5, 38, 42.5, 44, 46) cm.
• Sleeve length underarm to cuff: 19inches; 48 cm or desired length.

Materials Used: 

• 4 (4, 4, 5, 7, 8, 8, 8, 8) skeins of Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh (100% superwash merino; 420 y [384 m]) in 4 different colorways:
• The total required yardage combined of all the colors is approx. 1230 (1350, 1500, 1620, 1780, 1890, 2060, 2200, 2350) yards [1125 (1235, 1370, 1480, 1625, 1730, 1880, 2010, 2150) meters].
• Note: The yardage requirement might be different according to the knitters’ tension and also, depending on how you change colors. If you don’t want to have so much left overs (for the bigger sizes), instead of having duplicate skeins of each color you could add more colors to the mix (for example 6 colors instead of 4).

Needle Size: US 3 (3.25 mm) and US 2 (2.75 mm) circular needles
