Single Pattern – The Sweater Collective – Salamanca Hat

The Salamanca Hat is a perfect project for when you’re craving an engaging accessory knit. Whether it’s changing your needle size or switching textures, there’s always something happening to keep you interested. It doesn’t hurt that the finished hat looks great and goes with everything too!

Gauge: 15.5 stitches x 25 rounds = 10cm (4”) in seed stitch on middle (5mm {US 8}) needle size
Finished Measurements: “Child/Adult Small: 46.5cm (18 ¼“) circumference, fits head circumference 48–55cm (19–21 ¾”); 20cm (8”) or 23cm (9”) long
Adult Large: 54.25cm (21 ¼“) circumference, fits head circumference 56–63cm (22–24 ¾”); 21cm (8 ¾“) or 24cm (9 ½”) long”

Materials Used: 100g Aran weight yarn; 166m (180yds)

Needle Size: 4.5mm (US 7), 5mm (US 8) and 5.5mm (US 9) at least 100cm (40”) length circular needles, double-pointed needles or short 40cm (16”) circular needles, or size to obtain gauge and both a needle size smaller and larger
