Yarn Trader Security Policy
Yarn Trader uses the Stripe Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. Stripe processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet.
All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the stripe gateway are secured payments.
• Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
• Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Yarn Trader or any outside party.
• All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
• All transaction data is encrypted for storage within Stripe’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
• Stripe is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian banks.
• Stripe at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by Yarn Trader.
Please note that exclusions apply to our flat rate Australian shipping fees for bulky items. This will be identified on individual items that it is subject to bulky shipping rates.
After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your goods within 1-3 working days; however if goods are unavailable delivery will take a little longer. We will endeavour to select the most timely method of shipping and provide an estimate of the delivery time with tracking information.

Refund & Returns Policy
In order to guarantee that our yarns are in the best possible condition and free from any contaminants we do not accepts returns of yarn or any other fibre goods once it has left the premises, or unless said goods are faulty. We also do not accept returns on books or other printed materials. For all other items we only accept returns if items are still in their original undamaged packaging and are in re-saleable condition and we are notified within 30 days of purchase with accompanying proof of purchase. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are not satisfied with your purchase so that we can resolve any problems. This does not affect your statitutory rights.
Actual yarn colours might differ from images shown and any difference does not constitute faulty goods.
Transference of dye onto hands (Crocking) may occur when using yarn. This is a normal occurance for hand dyed yarns, especially where deeper colours have been used.
If you are concerned that your item may bleed when completed rinse the project in free flowing water before leaving to soak.
This refund policy does not apply to goods which have been worn or used, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken. All products must be returned in their original condition. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via Registered post and that you pre pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit & therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier.
