Top Five Strangest Questions Asked In A Yarn Store

Here at Yarn Trader we pride ourselves on our customer service. We have a highly experienced team of crocheters and knitters who can answer 99.9% of the questions posed to us. However sometimes we get asked the strangest things, not just brain teasers but ones that make you stop in your tracks and questions the whole reality around you. Here are the top five ones that challenged our abilities to breaking.

Do you sell fishing wire?

Literally had to stop for a minute while my brain caught up with this one, will hand dyed yarn attract those fishies?

Do you sell cake toppers?

Yes we did get asked this, and it did kinda make sense as it was a cake for a knitter. We did explain that anything used from our store would be inedible, and definitely a big stringy.

What wool would you recommend to grease a steam locomotive engine?

Unfortunately not having greased any steam locomotion engines there was not much we could recommend.

How well does your Fiber burn?

Well we did ask some more questions about this one, there is a police station over the road and we thought they might need to be notified! However it turned out it was a science teacher looking to do an experiment for his students.

Do you sell gloves? Cause there is a Galah in my boot and I think it will bite

Well their is not a lot you can say to that one but “why is there a Galah in your boot?
